Grading process

Graded to perfection, by one person

We're a small-run company, and that's the point. Parker is our only grader. Every ball we sell passes through the same hands and the same standard, so you know exactly what a grade means.

Why one grader matters

No crew, no guesswork

At a lot of resellers, grading gets split across a crew. Five people means five opinions on what counts as 4A.

We do it differently. Parker grades every ball personally and takes the time to get each one right, even when that means hours of sorting before a show. It's slower, and it's why buyers trust our grades.

Five steps, every ball

  1. Step 1

    Source

We buy used golf balls in bulk. Every lot comes back to our warehouse in Texas before anything gets sold.

  2. Step 2

    Clean

Each ball is professionally washed to get the dirt, grass stains and pond film off.

  3. Step 3

    Sort

We sort by brand and model, so a Pro V1 never ends up in a bag of distance balls.

    • Brand first: TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist, Vice, Bridgestone and more
    • Then model: Pro V1 vs Pro V1x, TP5 vs TP5x
  4. Step 4

    Grade

Parker checks every ball and gives it a grade from 5A down to 3A. Anything that doesn't make the cut goes into bulk counts or doesn't get sold.

    • Cover: scuffs, cuts, scratches
    • Paint and finish: luster, discoloration
    • Markings: player lines, pen marks, logos
  5. Step 5

    Package and ship

Graded balls are packed in our warehouse by the dozen, as singles or in bulk, and go out fast. Our average ship time on Whatnot is 1 day.
